How we came about
Back around 2018 I was running out of room for hunting stuff in the house and the wife was on me to clean it up. I told her the only way I could move it out was to build a building. Once I got the approval to do that I started planning. What I thought I could afford was a 20x30 that I would later add a front porch onto and a little more to the width. In April of 2019 we got the slab poured. A good friend came and built the structure with a little help from me. It ended up 21x36 with 14' sidewalls. LOTS of room, or so I thought. I got it spray foamed that fall and started trying to decide what to make the walls out of. I, thinking I now have all this room for taxidermy, wanted tongue and groove wood. I also wanted several large closets along one side so that wall became sheetrock so I could save a little money. It was turning out to be quite the man cave. It made the perfect place to study for promotional tests at work too! I already had a nice workbench to work on my guns with storage underneath but needed a rifle rack. Back to the fire department for someone much better at woodwork! Then I got the idea that I wanted to sell guns. It wasn't quite as speedy as I had hoped, but after the FFL was finally done and the state of Texas had all the money they could get out of me, Morgan and I owned a gun store. Add a couple of safes and we're in business.

I am a career firefighter and my son Morgan, despite my best efforts, is just starting his career in law enforcement. We wanted something to showcase the flag and decided a red and blue line in the middle would set it off just right.
